Aliu Djaló, son of Boavista's FC football glory Mamadu Bóbó Djaló, started playing in 2003/2004 for the youth teams on this portuguese team. Spotted by Chelsea in 2007, he roamed to london where after an indifferent start, he blossomed to become a key figure in the 2010 FA Youth Cup victory.
An attacking midfield player, short in stature but technically very good, this is his third year at Chelsea, having played for the first team at Crystal Palace in a pre-season friendly.
His agent, Alex Barrow, is trying to secure a move away from Chelsea as he struggles to play regular football.
Keeping this progress rate, it will not take long until we hear more about this 'box-to-box' player.
